What do you wish you had done to better prepare for the exam? |
i didnt understand the book at the beggining and wasnt as interrested in it. |
if i had listened to what we talking about when we were watching the film, as well as reading the book more thoroughly. |
I wish that I had stayed on track with the reading schedule to have more time to study at the end. Having to finish the book instead of spending time studying really was a setback for me. |
stuff and thangs |
Jotting down Questions and Responses from my classmates |
Participated more, and read every night |
i wish i stopped putting things off until the last minute, knowing that i wouldnt do it when it came down to it |
go over the main point of each chapter and try to understand the reading rather then just reading to be done with it . |
What was the best part of our "To Kill a Mockingbird" classwork? |
asking questions as a class |
History section for RASH |
I liked the Inner/Outer Circle conversation since it was where I get to hear other people's questions and what they were thinking |
when we the whole class discussion and we were able to handle it without you |
When we actually hit it off with the roundtables |
Reading the Movie and compare and contrast it to the book |
i didnt enjoy it at all |
What was the worst part of our "To Kill a Mockingbird" classwork? |
doing writing reflections |
inner/outer circle conversation |
I felt forced to talk in Discussion |
talking about the shot angles |
History info, sometimes I got confused with it |
Not spending enough time going over a lot of what might be important for the test |
Entire class seminars, too many people wanting to talk |
creating the questions and the teacher not checking them everyday |
verbal/dramatic irony, didn't understand it well |
Asking table partner questions because sometime they had no idea what I was talking about because they didn't read |
What did you learn about "To Kill a Mockingbird" or Harper Lee by taking the exam? |
nothing |
about double standards, and race/class separation |
i learned about stuff |
Harper Lee only wrote one book |
I have a better understanding of the book now than I did in 7th grade when I first read it. |
I learned that "TKAM" is about Atticus and limits of Southern liberalism. |
that sometimes decorum can force people to do acts that tehy dont want just so society views them positively |
the world wasnt ready to talk about race back then and still isnt ready |
I learned more about Harper Lee's life by taking the exam because I read the reading about what inspired her to write the book |
I learned about Scout's point in view of her life experience in racism in the south |
